A Study on Geographical Search and Road Network Using Progressive Indicator for Finding Shortest Path
Abstract
The major objective of this work is to reduce the overall cost as well as to reduce the distance and time involved in transportation networks so that the effective shortest possible pathway may be identified by Genetic Algorithm using Fizzy logic method to find out the most optimal path by calculating the value generated by the algorithm, this calculation helps us in finding the most optimal path so that we may have better pathways whose coherent values having better indexes are scalable for solving most of the traffic based problems on the road networks . Nowadays , most of the navigators use services based on location such as Google maps to find the reliable, efficient and short paths on roads. In this paper we find the best possible routes based on the other available routes by optimization using vehicle routing, because there is no restriction on the total time. This work helps not only to reduce the total cost involved in travelling on that particular route, but also helps us in reducing the overall distance and time involved on travelling and choosing the particular route generated.
