Abstract

Spamdexing (a combination of Spamming and indexing) is a black-hat technique of doing search engine optimization. There are many ways to do this, some of them are stuffing the keyword, providing invisible or hidden text on web pages, meta- tag stuffing, spamming the link, cloaking etc. The main aim of doing this type of black hat technique is to increase the rank of the web pages and to bring them to the top in the search results page in an unethical way.
