Abstract

The study aimed at finding the “Employer and Employee relationship in sugar factories of Trichy district” India can rightly be called the home land of Sugar India as it is the fourth major sugar producing country in the world, first three being U.S.S.R, Brazil and Cuba in that order with 365 Sugar Mills with an investment at about Rs.1, 800 cores. There are 41 Sugar Mills in Tamil Nadu comprising. Trichy has two major sugar factories Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Pvt Ltd and EID Parry (I) Ltd were the researcher has conducted the study. Total of 150 sample size has been selected. In recent years, due to low productivity, most of the sugar mills of the State are running in losses and are unable to maintain pleasant-sounding labour and employer relations. The researcher found that the production level of sugar will increase not only with the fertility of land, immense water facility, good climatic conditions, healthy seeds, but also with a perfect employee and employer relationship in those sugar factories.
