Abstract

Visual data mining is a novel approach to deal with the growing flood of information. The aim is to combine traditional data mining algorithms with information visualization techniques to utilize the advantage of both approaches. Much of the previous work on data mining has focused on mining data in relational databases. Object models are popular in multimedia data. In this paper we are addressing the problems associated with multimedia objects and advantages of using the visual mining in real time data mining for multimedia data.
