Abstract

This paper presents a new method of counting the passing people on crowded situations. The proposed method analyzes the similar degree of adjacent frames with part Hausdorff distance to obtain adjacent frames displacement of passing people. According to similar degree of adjacent frames, we predict the number of inbound and outbound people in monitor area accurately. The method's accurate degree will not be influenced by light, sunlight and shade of the passing people. Experimental results show that the new method is robust and more efficient than classic ones.
