Abstract

In this paper, we present a new cloud-based trust management model in ad hoc networks. Trust degree and trust uncertainty among nodes are described in a uniform form i.e. cloud. In the trust reasoning operations, the weight of each cloud is taken account. To reduce the overhead of communication, a route-aware trust recommendation approach is proposed. Simulation results show that the proposed trust model can evaluate the trust relationships among nodes and detect malicious nodes effectively.
