Convergence and comparison results for double splitting of matrices
Abstract
The double splitting iterative methods for solving the large system of linear equations Ax=b are studied. The convergence theorems for double splitting are presented when the coefficient matrix is an H-matrix or a Hermitian positive definite matrix. Furthermore, a comparison theorem for two double splittings of a Hermitian positive definite matrix is obtained.
