Abstract

In order to improve the reliability of moving objects detection, this paper presented a moving objects detection algorithm based on improved Gaussian mixture model background modeling. The algorithm introduced blocking model, established Gaussian mixture background model which could adjust the number of distribution automatically and detected moving objects by three-frame differencing. To increase the convergence speed, the model is updated by using adaptive learning rate. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method can fast and efficiently detect moving objects, and has better stability and robustness.
