Abstract

In 2012, Li et al. proposed an improved dynamic identity based authentication scheme for multi-server architecture to remedy the security flaws of Sood et al.'s scheme(2011). However, we find that Li et al.'s scheme is still susceptible to impersonation attack and server spoofing attack. In this paper, we will discuss the weaknesses of Li et al.'s scheme and present a modification. The security analysis proves that our improved scheme is more secure.
