Terrain modeling of China alternative landing zone based on adaptive genetic kriging
Abstract
In the second phase of China's lunar exploration, it is needed to provide the simulation environment for the design of the Lander and Rover, namely the lunar terrain simulation, especially the terrain simulation of the alternative landing zones. It can provide the foundation for the exploration near the landing zones. In order to ensure the terrain simulated by the low accuracy DEM data most close to the actual situation, and to achieve a certain degree of accuracy, this paper makes full use of the earth's surface modeling method of DEM, and introduces the adaptive technology into the lunar terrain modeling. It implements the lunar surface terrain modeling with the adaptive genetic kriging interpolation model. The experimental results has veried the validity of this model.
