Efficient reversible image watermarking based on odd-even consistency on pixel pairs
Abstract
An efficient integer transform that applies to pixel pairs is proposed in this paper. Based on the transform's odd-even consistency (OEC), which will transform the two integers of any a pixel pair together into odd or even numbers, we design two different transform rules for the different orders of the pixel pair, and then a simply and efficient location map is presented, compared with traditional location scheme, the proposed scheme just need to pick up a 1-D binary location data, which not only decreases the transformation times, but also reduces the numbers of the location data. Experimental results show that the proposed method can strike a good balance between capacity and the image quality which are often used to measure the reversible image watermarking.
