Energy-efficient flow mapping in sensor cloud using signaling game strategy
Abstract
Data flow mapping between physical and virtual sensor becomes indispensable in sensor cloud. However, unreliability owing to malicious attack and fluctuation of communication capacity due to mobility are existence between physical and virtual sensor. Consequently, this puts a heavy energy consumption of physical sensors and virtual gateways. In this paper, we propose a novel energy-efficient data flow mapping strategy between physical and virtual sensor based on signaling game theory. It can adaptively map data flow in dynamic environments by Bayesian rules to make an energy-delay tradeoff decision. The simulation results have shown the effectiveness of the proposed game, thus, both physical sensors and virtual gateways are able to select their optimal strategies to map data flow for energy saving consideration.
