Abstract

Managing and storing more data is a cumbersome in typical database. To manage, analyze and store such large datasets, Big Data is introduced. Big Data is a recent technology that could change the life of the world. It is implemented in all the fields including medical applications. Big Data Analytics helps the doctors to predict the disease and to take accurate decisions regarding patients.Various machine learning algorithms along with data mining techniques are used to predict chronic diseases. This paper focuses on various machine learning algorithms like Deep Learning, Associative Classifier, Naïve Bayes etc. Also it defines various tools and techniques that are used in analyzing the chronic diseases and making decisions. It requires appropriate platform for processing such large data sets. This requirement is fulfilled by the Cloud environment which provides perfect platform for implementing.
