A distributed and adaptive gridflow in OGSA
Abstract
The Open Grid Services Architecture as the next generation of Grid computing platform has become the De-facto standard to address the challenge of integrating services spread across dynamic distributed and heterogeneous large-scale science, engineering, and commerce. More and more complex Grid applications require for composing and executing complex Grid Workflows. This research focuses on a distributed mobile agent-based Grid Workflow architecture, which adopts the Colored Petri net as the theory formalism to define the process. It also gives formal automatic composition constructs of Workflows with OWL-S based semantic from the distributed Grid services. The study presents the prototype and implementations.
