A novel DV-Hop localization based on improved ABC algorithm
Abstract
DV-Hop is a classical distance-independent localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks. However, it has low localization accuracy in the random distribution of the sparse wireless sensor network. In order to solve this problem, an improved localization algorithm (DCABCDV-Hop) is proposed. In order to improve the accuracy, an objective optimization function is deduced based on DV-Hop Algorithm. An improved Artificial Bee Colony algorithm is proposed, which is based on Divide-and- Conquer strategy. The modified algorithm is applied to the objective optimization function for the localization in wireless sensor networks. The simulation results show that, compared with the original DV-Hop algorithm, DCABCDV-Hop has higher positioning accuracy without adding hardware and increasing communication overhead.
