A secure data aggregation based on trusted node for wireless sensor networks
Abstract
Due to its severe resource constrains in terms of energy, storage, network bandwidth, computation, processing and communication capabilities, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) cannot adapt to the transmission of a large amount of sensing data, which are high similarity and redundancy. Therefore, it is necessary for the raw sensing data to perform aggregation at the aggregators. Meanwhile, compromised nodes can cause a significant threat to the wireless sensor networks. A secure Data Aggregation based on Trusted Node is proposed in this paper to solve the problem. The algorithm consists of three components: computation of reputation of sensor nodes, classification of sensor nodes and data aggregation of classified nodes. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can identify and resist the attack of compromised node effectively as well as enhance precision and stability of data aggregation results.
