An Analysis of Cognitive Radio Spectrum Sensing for Network security in Vehicular Ad Hoc Network
Abstract
There is a great advancement in recent vehicles which are capable to be connected with numerous sensing and transmission devices, like camera, fuel sensor, AC sensor, Pressure sensor, and GPS device to guide about environmental conditions of road, like the speed of the vehicle and required acceleration, distance between the location, traffic conditions of road and also to disseminate it with other nearby or adjoining vehicles or to the adjacent roadside units (RSU) through wireless interfaces and there is a great need for an analysis of proper cognitive radio spectrum sensing (CRSS) for network security. It is an upcoming approach to enhance the utilization of cognitive radio spectrum resources precisely. The available natural resource will become limited when the electromagnetic radio spectrum gets crowded due to inflation of wireless devices and its utilization of medium. The efficient use of available spectrum can be developed with a spectrum sensing method will give fair outputs and reduce the interference tothe licensed primary users, with a distinct frequencies of spectrum to vehicles. This study is focused towards the analysis of network security with cognitive radio spectrum in vehicular ad hoc network.
