Context-dependent learning strategy: Goal-driven learning method based on training process
Abstract
Learning process of human can be viewed as a series of processes which can obtain knowledge so as to serve certain goals. The obtaining of knowledge begins with initial state. Then the goals are achieved step by step according to variable context and the different background knowledge of the context. Context-dependent learning describes the situation where learning process is divided into two procedures, that is, training procedure and learning procedure. Training procedure acquires the path and the middle knowledge from the initial state to the goal. In training procedure the path and knowledge acquired consist of slightly abstract concepts. Learning procedure produces concrete and implemental path. According to the training and learning procedure CDLS strategy is propose. The results indicate that the strategy is able to create a meaningful and controllable path for a particular task from training process, and produce concrete and implemental paths from learning process. The paths from learning process can adapt to other similar tasks.
