Abstract

The flare-up information of biotext or biomed corpora set massive concentration in automated techniques for information retrieval and extraction. Fetching out recognized entities and framing out the relationship among those entities over biomed corpus remains innovative and standstill challenges to the researchers. Even several existing systems are avail to achieve NER based on Rules, Pattern Matching and Dictionary Matching, they fails to bring out semantic information. Hence, Enhanced Information RetrIeval System (E-IRIS) utilizes Gene ontology, Disease database and LocusLink to accumulate entities semantically by building of dictionary construction. Therefore, newly developed ‘Information RetrIeval System (IRIS)’ is invoked for Named Entity Recognition (NER) to recognize entities such as Gene, Protein and Disease.
