Insider attack on threshold multi-proxy multi-signature scheme
Abstract
In 2006, Kang et al. proposed a new threshold multi-proxy multi-signature scheme with shared verification. They claimed that none of the possible attacks can successfully break their scheme. However, insider attack is proposed to show that Kang, et al.'s scheme is insecure. The reason is that one subset of proxy group can impersonate another subset of proxy group to sign any message for the designated verifiers.
