Abstract

With the popularity of web service, a large number of web services according to the web service standards are provided by service providers. But the use of these web services is very limited, in contrast to the situation that people want to make full use of these web services to construct system in a short time. So it is important to classify the web services for a specific domain. In this paper, a cluster-based method supporting the automatic classification of web services in a specific domain is proposed. This method can group the web services into different clusters according to their functions, and then extract the web services in one cluster to form an abstract web service, which stands for the web services in this cluster. Experiments and practices show that this method has good efficiency and availability.
