Moving object detection based frame difference and graph cuts
Abstract
For the graph cuts method need man to select the background seeds and foreground seeds, A method based the frame difference is proposed to automate choosing the seeds. First the difference between two frame is used and then use the value 1 and-1 pair to choose the foreground seeds and background seeds, then the region is get from the pair value and expand to include all information of the foreground. Then the image of the region is set to a graph and the moving object edge pixels are set to the hard constraints. Then min-cut/max-flow method of s/t graph cuts is applied in the region image. The experiments show our method is valid and computation is less than some method. Foremost, automate to find the seeds are superior than the classical graph cut method.
