Multiple-image encryption algorithm based on discrete quaternion Fourier transform and chaos
Abstract
A multiple-image encryption scheme based on discrete quaternion Fourier transform (DQFT) and chaos is proposed. Four images are set as four parts of a quaternion and encrypted simultaneously using the DQFT. Logistic map generates a matrix to mix four images and 3-D cat is also used to scramble images after piling up the pixels of each image to cubes. The proposed scheme can encrypt not only four images but also three images and so on if one sets some parts of quaternion as zero. The scheme has large key space and is sensitive to keys. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
