Ontology-based filling forms of deep web entries automatically
An increasing number of databases are becoming web accessible through form-based query interfaces, therefore, this paper proposes a novel method of filling forms on deep web data integration system, which contains three sub-models: query analyzer, query processor and query submission. Query analyzer is used to match each local interface schema and integration interface schema to judge the match type by ontology. Query processor is used to capture the matching relationships from query analyzer, and decompose the queries of integration interface which are submitted by users. Queries will be distributed and forms will be automatically translated to multi-database entries for implementing multi-databases searching under an integration interface, which is transparent to users in searching of multi-databases. Experiment result shows that this method of query translation is feasible.
