Robust H∞ control for uncertain rectangular descriptor system by dynamic compensator
The problem of robust H∞ control for the uncertain rectangular descriptor system by dynamic compensation is considered. The time-varying parametric uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded. By using Lyapunov function methods, a sufficient condition for the existence of a dynamic compensator with proper dynamic order, such that the closed-loop system is admissible and robust H∞performances are satisfied, is derived. Then the sufficient condition of solvability of the robust H∞ control problem is presented in terms of linear matrix inequality. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed approach for uncertain rectangular descriptor system is illustrated by a numerical example.
