Secured and Energy Efficient Packet Transmission in Wireless Sensor Networks Using Flooding Protocol and AES Algorithm
Abstract
In recent days, it can be seen that Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have persuaded almost all popularity. The WSN technologies have many promising application areas such as health care, forest fire sensing etc. Because of its growth, it easily vulnerable to attacks and easily loses energy. The major complications faced by these areas are security and energy efficiency. One of the proposed methods to solve this problem is to use mock-up data along with AES cryptography algorithm. In this method, every node becomes a fake data source and starts to send a fraudulent data where the original data is protected using the AES algorithm. With this fraudulent data source, a fake traffic is created and the adversary ends with uncertainty. The destination node is selected using the weighted node evaluation method which still improves the data security by identifying the adversary.
