Solving the optimal power flow problem via a non-interior path following algorithm
Abstract
In this paper, we propose a non-interior path following algorithm for solving the optimal power flow problem. By using the new approach, we can choose initial guesses arbitrarily in the whole space of n dimensional Euclidean space. This can improve the computational efficiency of the algorithm greatly than before. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the results of this paper.
