Abstract

Gamut mapping is currently one fundamental problem in the study of image hue reappearance. By computing the average distance of the key points in the images, we can measure the quantum data of color image in the gamut mapping. It can be used in the process of color reproduction based on ICC Profile which is a industrial standard now. The method could help the gamut mapping be more powerful in the ability of open, in time, and self-adapting, and the transformation from the color gamut of imprinter to printer could be realized better.
