The cold standby system with repair of non-new and repairman vacation
Abstract
In order to solve the "repair of non-new" components of repairable systems, by using the geometric process theory, the supplementary variable method and Laplace transform, two different components and one repairman for a repairable cold standby system is studied. Assume that two components of working time and the repair time are subject to the different exponential distribution and the repairman vacation time is a general continuous distribution. The repair of the component I is geometry repair and the repair of the component 2 is as good as new. The reliability of some important indices such as system availability, reliability and system average working time to first failure are obtained. The results have some theoretical and practical significance.
