The traffic control and guidance coordination expert system based on neural network
Abstract
Through analysis of traffic signal and traffic guidance and their relationship in time and space, the Traffic Control & Guidance Coordination Expert System based on Neural Network is designed. This system takes into account both the independence of the original traffic control system and the traffic guidance system, and realizes data sharing and interoperability by just adding a central coordination system (CCOS) in between while without having to make in-depth changes to the two systems. In CCOS, a model is set up based on the neural network for the traffic control and traffic guidance operation. The input data, in addition to the traffic flow data from the road network nodes, adopts the traffic flow forecasting data and the traffic incident data, enabling the system to have the predictability to some extent. Finally, Guangzhou Avenue and its alongside road network, centering on Guangzhou Bridge, is used as a simulation area to verify the correctness and practicability of the system by using the simulation software of Vissim.
