Unemployment among Skilled Youth in Vellore District of Tamil Nadu – An Economic Assessment
Generally Speaking unemployment is a condition in which a person is prepared and has the desire to work at the current rate of pay, and still there is no work available. It can be economically stated that a man can be called unemployed solely when he does not have a job or has no employment and is also willing to get employed. Nearly 33 per cent of the formally trained youth was unemployed in study area. Approximately one third of trained young men and greater than one third of trained young women were unemployed. India and Tamil Nadu are balanced for harvesting demographic dividend and the result is based on the involvement of youth to the country’s product. Currently, India is affected by from extraordinarily far above the ground trained unemployment and inquiries are also lifted concerning the employability of the young generation due to their insufficient education, guidance, and market prepared ability. Enormous youth unemployment, particularly knowledgeable unemployment is the right means to social nervousness, turbulence, and illegal activities rotating the demographic divined into a demographic frightening. In this research work, the researcher highlights on the problems of education, skill creation and unemployment among youth in Tamil Nadu centering particularly on knowledgeable being without a job. The researcher find that present ability and guidance state of affairs of youth in Tamil Nadu is not enough. Excess and scarcity exist simultaneously in the labour market delegate grave disparity between supply and demand. It is a vital requirement to revisit at human resource development mechanisms in Global perspectives. In this background this research work highlights on the unemployment among skilled youth in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu in economic views.
