Earlier Detection of Myocardial Infarction(MI) by Analysing ST Segment of ECG Signal Using Discrete Wavelet Transform Algorithm in LabVIEW Software
Abstract
The ST elevation is the most common changes noted in the ECG signal. These changes can be seen pre-dominantly in myocardial infarction and also in other cardio vascular diseases. This project is aimed to detect the myocardial infarction at earlier from the ECG signal during the ST elevation. The ST elevation is extracted from ECG signal by using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) algorithm. Then the ST Elevation is decomposed by this algorithm to find the abnormal value of ST segment. The wavelet characteristics captured frequency, amplitude and energy components of the ST segment. The individual characteristics of single ST segment is classified into normal and abnormal signals with respect to ST elevation analysis using Lab VIEW software
